Description

This is a row of six cottages dating from the early 19th century, constructed of stone. The cottages are two storeys high and feature casement windows. The roof is covered with old tiles. Attached to the corner of numbers 15 and 16 is a late 19th-century cast iron gas lamp bracket with a lantern, which in 1987 was still lit by gas – a rare survival. The bracket has an elaborate finial. Numbers 10 to 16 are listed as a group.
