Description

The buildings at 43 and 45 High Street date from the early 19th century. They are two storeys high and built of stucco. The ground floor features shop fronts. The first floor has four widely spaced sash windows set in moulded exposed frames. A stucco band runs above the first-floor windows. Eaves and a gutter are also stuccoed. The roofs are hipped; No. 43 has a tile roof with two tiled gable dormers, while No. 45 has a slate roof with one gable dormer and one flat-roofed dormer with a leaded roof.
