Description
Fawke House, which includes The Cottage, is a building that dates back to the early 18th century, with the back part now known as The Cottage. It connects to the main house. The front features two right bays from the late 18th century, while the left bay was added in the late 19th century to match the original style. The building has two storeys and is constructed from roughly coursed rubble masonry with flint galletting. It has a hipped tiled roof and recessed sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance features a reproduction panelled door and fanlight, set beneath a projecting bracketed hood. The interior has been significantly altered in the early 20th century, adopting a reproduction Queen Anne style.
