The stable yard and stables located to the north-east of Absalom's Farmhouse are part of a group of buildings that includes the farmhouse, the granary, a former cowshed, formal garden walls, and an oast range. The stable yard features a cobbled surface and is bordered on the east by a long, single-storey stable range.
