Description
The oast range located to the west of the stable yard of Absalom's Farmhouse is a 19th-century structure. At the north end, there are two oasts made of red brick, featuring conical tiled roofs and wooden cowls, along with a drying shed located behind them. The building also includes a two-storey and attic section that serves as a cottage and garage, all covered by a tiled roof. The walls are constructed of galletted random rubble with red brick dressings. This oast range is part of a group that includes Absalom's Farmhouse, the granary, the former cowshed, the formal garden walls, and the stable range, all surrounding a cobbled yard.
