Description
Fawke Farmhouse is a two-storey, four-window house that likely dates from the 16th century, although it has been significantly altered and restored, primarily in the mid-19th century. A date plaque on the building indicates it was restored in 1846. The farmhouse features a hipped tiled roof and tile-hung first floor. The ground floor is constructed of random rubble with flint galletting and red brick dressings. It has 19th-century casement windows and a modern gabled porch made of wood and stone. To the left of the farmhouse, there is a one-storey stable wing with a vertical weatherboarded front and a back wall made of similar stonework to the house. Fawke Farmhouse, the Small Barn, and the Outbuilding are part of a group.
