Description

This is a row of four cottages built in the early to mid-19th century, with later 20th century extensions to the rear. The cottages are constructed of brown brick with grey brick headers in a rat trap bond, and have a slate roof, with one end hipped and two brick chimney stacks. They have two storeys and four windows. The ground-floor windows have casements with cambered heads, and the doors have cambered doorcases, containing two original two-plank doors and two more recent half-glazed doors. The rear elevation retains the original casement windows on the first floor, but the ground floor incorporates 20th century flat-roofed extensions.
