Description

Brook Street Farmhouse is a restored timber-framed house dating from the 16th century or earlier, with 19th-century elevations. It features a half-hipped tiled roof, tile-hung first floor, and a brick ground floor with stone window dressings. The front has modern leaded casements, while the rear wall showcases 17th-century or early 18th-century brickwork and some 18th-century leaded casements. There are 19th-century extensions to the north. Inside, the house has much heavy exposed timber.
