Description

These are a range of late 19th-century almshouses located on The Drive. They were built in a traditional collegiate style. The buildings are one storey high with attics. They are constructed primarily of stone, with some brick dressings, and have slate roofs. Each building has a porch with a Tudor-arched doorway and mullioned windows. The composition is distinguished by prominent, twisted chimney stacks made of red brick.
