Description
Nos 10 to 12 Chevening Road are a pair of linked buildings, with the left section (No 10) dating from the early 18th century and a mid-19th century extension (Nos 11 and 12). The buildings are two storeys high. No 10 features two windows, while Nos 11 and 12 each have one window. They have a fairly high-pitched tiled roof and tall brick chimneys. The walls are made of red brick with some blue headers. The two set-back left bays have a first-floor band and finely gauged brick arches over the ground floor windows. The windows are 19th-century casements with bars. There is a hipped, tiled porch at the angle of No 11, and No 10 has its entrance on the return under this porch, which is supported by wooden posts. Nos 1 to 12, the garden wall to Nos 10 to 12, and Lennard Lodge form a group.
