Description
Nos 83 and 84 on Peascod Street are a pair of mid to late 18th century buildings. They are two storeys tall with an attic, constructed of red brick with grey headers. The steep hipped mansard roof is covered with old tiles and features two hipped roof dormers, along with a central chimney stack. The eaves are toothed brick, and No 83 has two windows while No 84 has one, both of which are early 19th century sash windows. The buildings have modern shop fronts. At the rear, there are irregular camber arched sashes and later additions. Nos 74 to 84 are consecutive, and Nos 86 and 87 form a group with them.
