Description

Mill House is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century or earlier, although much of its visible appearance is from the 18th century. The brick exterior has been painted and features a plinth (a low projecting base) and a horizontal band. The house is two storeys high, with projecting eaves (the overhanging lower edge of the roof) and a gutter. The roof is tiled and hipped (sloping gently towards the centre). The building is L-shaped and stands next to more modern mill buildings that are electrically powered. The windows have been restored with square-paned casements, and the entrance has a 19th-century panelled door with upper glazing and a projecting flat hood.
