Description

The Baptist Church, also known as the Manse, is a mid-18th century building constructed of painted brick and features a half-hipped tiled roof. It has one small 19th-century dormer and two tall round-headed windows with square panes. In the center, there is a small lunette with decorative margin lights above a projecting, slated early 19th-century porch that has ornamental barge-boards and a Gothick panelled door. A Tudor arched fanlight with Gothick tracery is situated above the door. The adjoining Manse to the right includes a 19th-century porch and a French window on the ground floor, with a casement window above it set under a shallow segmental arch. The structure is one storey high and has a one-window right extension.
