Description
Former Coachman's Cottages, located about 30 metres west of Chilston Park, date from the 18th century and are constructed of coursed galleted stone with brick dressings and a plain tile roof. The building is double depth and consists of two storeys set on a stone plinth. It features a deep modillioned brick eaves cornice and a hipped roof with returning hips. There is a brick gable end stack on the left side. The front has a regular arrangement of three windows, each with two-light casements, and the ground floor windows have segmental heads. The central door has two sunk panels and also features a segmental head. The interior has not been inspected. The cottages are included for their group value.
