Description

The monument to Mrs. Elizabeth Usborne is a chest tomb located adjacent to the south-east end of the south aisle of the Church of All Saints in Staplehurst. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is made of stone, resting on a stone base. The tomb features a lightly-moulded plinth and cornice, with fluted side panels that are reeded towards the base. The inscription commemorates Mrs. Elizabeth Usborne of Loddenden, who died in 1839.
