Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located about 25 metres southeast of the south chancel chapel of the Church of All Saints in Staplehurst. It is made of stone and sits on a stone base. The tomb features a moulded plinth, a corniced lid, gadrooned side pilasters, and a fielded inscription panel with concave corners. The inscription was illegible at the time of the re-survey.
