This group of four chest tombs, dating from the early 18th century, is located about 7.5 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of All Saints in Staplehurst. All the tombs are made of stone. Three of the tombs are aligned west-east along the churchyard path, with the fourth positioned to the south of the eastern tomb.

The central chest tomb also has a moulded plinth and corniced lid, with continuously moulded side and end panels. The west end is inscribed to Thomas Usborn the Elder, who died in 166-.
The east chest tomb includes a moulded plinth and corniced lid, with continuously moulded side and end panels. The inscription is barely legible at the time of re-survey.
The south chest tomb features a moulded plinth and cornice, with plain side and end panels. Its inscription was illegible at the time of re-survey.
