Description

61 London Road is a building dating from around 1860. It has two storeys and attics, constructed from Kentish ragstone, and features a slate roof with two gables that have fretted bargeboards. The attic storey includes two windows, which are two-light casements with hood moulding. On the ground and first floors, there are two three-light casements with hood moulding, along with a central single light casement on the first floor. The building has a central gabled stone weather porch with kneelers and an arched doorcase that includes moulded spandrels. The left side elevation features two five-light bays, one extending through two storeys and the other on the ground floor only. Nos 61 to 77 (odd) form a group.
