Description

Rock House is a circa 1850 building of three storeys constructed from stock brick, originally fronting London Road, but now located on the North Side of Bedford Place as No. 1. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The building features four sash windows with intact glazing bars and stone sills. The ground floor windows are round-headed. A rusticated porch is present, with a simple round-headed doorcase. The London Road elevation originally displayed one sash window and a two-light bay extending through two floors. Rock House forms a group with Nos. 15 to 25 (odd), London Road.
