Description

This 19th-century granary is located about 4 metres west of Great Tong on Tong Lane in Headcorn. It features a timber-framed structure that is weatherboarded, with the right gable end and the right side of the ground floor made of red brick. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles. The building has two storeys and displays irregular fenestration with three windows: one small light at each end and a central two-light window. There is a first-floor door towards the right end and a lean-to on the left. A short two-storey weatherboarded section connects it to an oasthouse on the right. The interior has not been inspected. This granary is included for its group value.
