Description

This is a table tomb dedicated to Thomas Knight, a gentleman who died in 1810. It is located approximately 10 yards south of the west tower of the Church of St. John the Baptist. The tomb dates from the early 19th century and is made of stone, resting on a stone base. It features a moulded plinth and a lightly corniced lid. The side panels are fluted, and there are fan decorations at the corners of the inscription. The tomb was formerly enclosed by a railing.
