Description
Woodlands Cottage and the adjoining cottage to the left are a pair of houses dating from the mid-to-late 18th century. They are timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a plain tile roof. The buildings are two storeys high with attics, standing on a rendered plinth. They feature a steeply-pitched gambrel roof with half-hipped ends and have projecting brick stacks at the gable ends. There are two barely-projecting dormers and a regular two-window front consisting of three-light casements, positioned towards the gable ends. To the left of centre, there is a boarded door with a flat bracketed hood. A similar doorway is found in the weatherboarded lean-to on the right gable end of Woodlands Cottage. Additionally, there is a small brick lean-to at the rear of the left gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
