Description

The building comprises a pair of cottages, dating from the early 18th century. They are timber-framed and weather-boarded, with a plain tiled roof. The cottages stand on a brick plinth, with part of the ground floor rendered, and have a half-hipped roof with a central stack. The windows are arranged regularly, with five wooden casements to the first floor and four on the ground floor, along with an extra casement in a single-storey extension to the left. A paired boarded door is situated in the centre, protected by a flat hood supported on brackets. There is a catslide outshot. The cottages are of a very similar style and roughly contemporary to numbers 1-3 Iddenden Cottages located adjacent.
