Description
Bunce Court is a house with an 18th-century front, but believed to incorporate a building dating back to the 16th century, altered in the late 19th century. The front is built with red mathematical tiles in a Flemish bond pattern, rendered quoins, and a plain tile roof. It is two storeys high with attics, featuring a dentilled wood eaves cornice. Three dormers are visible; two have triangular pediments and the central one has a segmental pediment. The front facade has a regular arrangement of five windows, with recessed sash windows featuring thick glazing-bars, the central window being slightly set back from the others. A ribbed door is located within a central rectangular porch built of red brick in the early 20th century. Additions from the late 19th and early 20th centuries are not part of the listed structure. The interior has not been inspected.
