Description

Norton Hall is a farmhouse dating to the 15th century, with a front facade dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. The building is timber-framed and the front elevation is clad in red brick laid in a header bond. It has a plain tile roof. The front of the house stands on a brick plinth, with a flint plinth visible on the left side, and features slightly corbelled brick eaves. The roof is hipped with gablets. There is a central brick ridge stack and a projecting brick stack on the rear of the left end elevation. The front has a regular three-window arrangement of 2-light casement windows, with the ground-floor windows having segmental heads. A central boarded door is protected by a flat corniced hood. A rear lean-to or possible aisle adjoins the rear of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
