Description
Park View and Old Timbers is a house row dating from the later 18th century. It features a timber frame, with the left section clad in mathematical tiles arranged in Flemish bond, while the right section has a ground floor of red and grey brick in Flemish bond and a first floor that is tile-hung. The building has two storeys and an attic, set on a rendered plinth, and is topped with a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The roof is half-hipped on the left side and has a late 20th-century addition on the right. There is a brick stack on the rear slope of the roof towards the left end, and two hipped dormers. The windows have an irregular arrangement, with two 12-pane sash windows in open boxes on the left and two on the right. The entrance to Park View (No. 2) features a panelled door beneath the stack, with a flat corniced bracketed hood above it. The door to Old Timbers is ribbed and located in a short late 20th-century cross-wing to the right. There is also a rear lean-to. The interior has not been inspected.
