Description
Maybank is a house dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with a 19th-century parallel rear range. It features a timber frame with painted brick infilling and tile-hung gable ends, topped by a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high, with a first-floor jettied on brackets. There is a central stack at the rear. The windows are irregularly arranged, with three on the first floor and two on the ground floor, featuring large 20th-century casements. The entrance includes a central 20th-century door. The two-storey rear range is constructed of red brick with a tile-hung gable, and there are 20th-century extensions to the north and south.
