Description

This is a headstone dedicated to Mark Turner, located about 4 metres north of the north chapel of the Church of St. Nicholas in Newington. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of stone. The headstone features a scrolled and cambered top, which is intricately carved with two cherub heads. It is inscribed with the name Mark Turner and the date of his death, 1751.
