Description

This is a pound, likely dating to the 19th century or earlier. It is constructed of coursed stone with shaped brick coping. The roughly rectangular structure has walls approximately 1 to 1.5 metres high. It is built at right angles to the street, with the street-facing end measuring about 5 metres in length. A 1.5-metre wide opening is situated towards the centre of the long north side.
