Description
No 6 Gough Road is a building constructed in two sections. The right side dates from the mid-19th century and is two storeys tall, featuring a stuccoed ground floor and a weatherboarded first floor, topped with a slate roof. It has three casement windows on the ground floor and a simple doorcase. The left side is an earlier section, likely from the 18th century, also two storeys high, with a painted stone ground floor and a painted brick first floor, topped with a hipped tiled roof. This section has one casement window and a simple doorcase on the ground floor, along with two small square casements above the window and door.
No 6 is part of a group with Nos 2 to 6 (even), where Nos 2 and 4 are noted as buildings of local interest. It also forms a group with Nos 3 and 5 Military Road.
