Description

39 High Street is a 18th-century building located in Sandgate. It stands three storeys tall, with the upper two storeys made of painted brick and the ground floor finished in stucco. The roof is hipped and tiled. There is one sash window with intact glazing bars, and the first-floor windows feature cambered heads. The ground floor showcases an early 19th-century shopfront, complete with a cornice and pilasters. A miniature penny-farthing in cast iron serves as a shop sign. The rear elevation of the building is tile-hung.
