Description
This building is a cottage located about 20 metres north of Summerfield Farmhouse. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber frame with exposed elements and plaster infill on a painted brick ground floor. The cottage has a thatched roof and has been extended with a painted brick section and a pantiled roof. It is one storey with an attic, set on a plinth, and has a hipped roof with one raking dormer. There are two stacks on the left and clustered stacks on the right. The central area has a wooden casement window in a projecting brick bay, along with a boarded door to the centre left. To the left, there is a single-storey projecting extension that includes two small wooden casement windows and a boarded door.
