Description
This building is a granary that has been converted into stables, located about 30 metres southeast of Heronden. It dates from the late 17th century and is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The structure is two storeys high, sitting on a plinth with a plat band, and features shaped gables. On the ground floor, there is a rib and stud loft door and one leaded wooden casement window with a segmentally headed top, along with a rib and stud door on the left side. Inside, the building includes stabling and a harness cupboard for two ponies. Notably, several bricks near the door on the left side are initialled "TB 1698," indicating a later date than the original construction.
