Description

Eastry Mill is a windmill dated 1770, constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding. It features a smock mill design with a polygonal plan and a gambrel roof. The sails and winding gear are currently missing. The ground floor is built of red brick and has glazing bar sashes, which were being reconstructed at the time of the survey. A wall plaque dated 1985 indicates the original construction date of 1770.
