Description

Laundry Cottage is a house dating to the 16th century, which was re-clad and altered in the late 20th century. It is timber framed with exposed timber framing and plaster and red brick infill, and underbuilt with red brick. The rear elevation is tile hung and weather boarded. The roof is tiled, and it has one storey and an attic with three gabled dormers and stacks to the left, centre, and right. There are two metal casement windows, a central 20th-century gabled porch with a half-door on the right side, a glazing-bar sash window, and a boarded door in a weather-boarded outshot to the right.
