Description

The Ravens is a public house dating from the 18th century. It has a painted brick exterior and a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high with a basement, featuring a brick dentil eaves cornice. There are stacks located to the left, at the centre rear, and at the end right, all adorned with dogtooth moulding. The windows are arranged regularly on the right side, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, along with one glazing bar sash on each floor offset to the left. All ground floor openings have cambered heads. To the right, there is a six-panelled door, with the top four panels being glazed, set in a moulded surround that includes a pulvinated frieze and cornice. There is also a basement opening on the right return.
