Description

Forge Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber-framed with exposed timbers and plaster infill, built upon a red brick and flint underbuild. The roof is thatched and hipped to the left, with stacks centrally located to the left and at the right end. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars, and two metal casements. The ground floor has two wooden casements, and a panelled door set within a thatched and trellised porch.
