Description

This barn, located about 30 metres northeast of Maydensole Farmhouse, dates back to 1801. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped with a hipped mid-strey. The interior consists of three bays with aisles, showcasing quadrant bracing that runs parallel to the rafters and a queen post roof. The date is marked on an interior beam. This barn is associated with the contemporary remodelling of the farmhouse for William Garside after 1786.
