Description
St Margarets Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys set on a moulded plinth, with a moulded plat band arching over the ground floor windows. The roof has a brick dentil eaves cornice, with a kneelered parapet gable on the left side and a hip on the right. There is a stack at the left end of the house.
On the first floor, there are two glazing bar sashes and a small central wooden casement. The ground floor has two glazing bar sashes and a central boarded door. The right-hand bays were non-domestic and include a boarded loft door with a flat hood, a glazing bar sash, and a blocked doorway with two wooden casements on the ground floor.
