Description
Priory Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of rusticated brick with rendered brick bands and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and four bays. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with glazed upper panels and a cock's head plate for the door handle, located in the third bay. The ground floor has three-light transomed fixed windows with glazing bars, and all openings on this level are beneath rusticated flat brick arches. Above, there is a replacement concrete moulded first-floor band with three-light casements. The original ashlar moulded eaves band is topped with a dentilled cornice. The roof is hipped, and there is a corniced stack on the left end.
