Description
Plum Tree Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is built of brick in English garden wall bond and has a pantile roof. The cottage features a 2-cell lobby-entry plan, with a lower extension on the right side. It is a single storey with an attic. The central entrance has a board door, with a 4-pane sash window to the left and a 2-light casement window to the right. There is evidence of a blocked attic window on the left side. The roof is steeply pitched, and there is a central stack with an addition to the left. The left gable end shows tumbling-in, while the right gable end has a 2-light casement window on the ground floor and a 2-light Yorkshire sash window above, both set beneath segmental arches. The interior has not been inspected, and the extension on the right is not of special interest.
