Description

No. 33 High Street is a house and shop dating from the early 17th century. It features painted brick and a plain tiled roof. The building has one storey and an attic, set on a plinth, with the roof hipped to the left. There are two gabled half dormers and a stack located at the rear left. The shop front, which is from the early 19th century, includes two canted plate glass bays and a central half-glazed door, all covered by a corrugated iron pentice roof supported by pilasters with a moulded dentillated cornice. Inside, there is a framed partition between No. 31 and No. 32, with chamfered ceiling joists.
