Description
No. 32 High Street is a house and shop that dates from the 15th and 17th centuries. It has a timber frame that is clad with painted brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building is one storey high with an attic, and it has coved eaves with two gabled dormers and a stack at the rear. The front has a central projecting plate glass bay, with a half-glazed door on the left and a four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight on the right, all covered by a tented corrugated iron pentice. Inside, there is a framed partition between No. 32 and No. 33. Portions of the building are suggested to date back to the 15th century, particularly those attached to the adjacent No. 31, which includes a mullioned window at the rear.
