Description

This is a pair of headstones located about 15 metres south of the Church of St Mary in Wingham. One headstone commemorates Elizabeth Bean, who died in 1721, and features a double-headed top. The other headstone is for William Ben, who died in 1701, and includes a skull on bat's wings along with an inscription on a raised and fielded panel.
