Description
Tudor House is a house built in the 17th and 18th centuries, located on Watercress Lane in Wingham. The building is constructed of red brick and has a plain tiled roof, arranged in two blocks. The right-hand block is two storeys high with a garret, standing on a plinth and featuring pilaster quoins, a plat band, and a cornice that leads to a Dutch gable. This gable has a broken pediment that extends through an open pediment, and there is a moulded offset stack on the right side. The block includes a two-light brick mullioned window in the garret, two leaded wooden casements on the first floor, and a panelled door flanked by sidelights. The left block, dating from the 18th century, has a half-hipped roof, a stack on the right side, and irregularly placed wooden casements.
