Description

The Eight Bells, now known as Bell House, is a public house dating to 1779. It is constructed of painted brick with a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic, set on a plinth and featuring a half-hipped roof and a central stack. The windows are regularly spaced, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor. The central entrance has a boarded door within a double rebated surround, displaying the date 1779 in the tympanum. A single-storey wing extends to the right, featuring two wooden casements and a boarded door.
