Description

Appletree Cottages is a range of three cottages, likely dating from the 17th century. The south and central cottages are timber-framed structures with two storeys, featuring brick ground floors and plaster infilling on the first floors. The northern cottage is also timber-framed, with a red brick ground floor and a plastered first floor, where a curved brace is visible on the rear elevation. All three cottages now have hipped tiled roofs, with the central cottage retaining an 'eyebrow' feature. The cottages have five casement windows and simple doorcases.
