Description

The Old Alms House is a 16th-century house located on Watercress Lane in Wingham. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered and has applied timber on a red brick base, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building is one storey high with an attic, set on a tall base. It has a hipped roof with gablets and stacks positioned at the centre left and right ends, along with two hipped dormers. The façade includes two wooden casement windows and a half-glazed door on the left, which is accessed by a flight of five steps. To the left, there is a wooden casement window in the outshots, and a weatherboarded outshot is located to the right.
