Description

The Green is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and has a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and features a parapet with a dentil eaves cornice. There are stacks at both the left and right ends of the roof. The front has a regular arrangement of five glazing bar sash windows on the upper floor, with the central window being shuttered, and four ground floor windows, all of which have shutters. The central entrance door is made up of six panels and is topped by a rectangular fanlight, set within a pedimented Doric porch. At the rear, there is a wing that includes Gothick traceried glazing bar sash windows.
