Description
This building is a barn and stables dating from the 17th century, located about 30 meters west of The Shrubbery. It features red brick construction in English bond and a timber-framed interior, with part of the exterior faced in corrugated iron and an asbestos sheet roof. The roof is half-hipped with a hipped mid stry. There are projecting stables to the right, and the rear walls of both the stables and the barn have a plinth and a plat band. Inside, the barn consists of five bays with aisles, passing shores to the arcade posts, and ogee bracing to the main arcade. The clasped purlin has been renewed.
